19 January 2019 – New York rock legend Jon Spencer will return to Croatia in March with his new band The Hitmakers.
Jon Spencer will play at Vintage Industrial in Zagreb on 22 March 2019 backed by The Hitmakers. In 2018, the ex Pussy Galore, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Boss Hog and Heavy Trash member released his debut solo album, “Spencer Sings the Hits!”.
The Hitmakers are made up of Bob Bert (Sonic Youth/Pussy Galore), Sam Coomes (Quasi, Heatmiser), and M. Sord.
The Jon Spencer and The Hitmakers tour kicked off early this year with dates across the United States before the tour moves to Asia and Europe.
Born in 1965 in New Hampshire, Spencer moved to Washington D.C. formed Pussy Galore better they relocated to New York.
Tickets for the Zagreb gig will go on sale shortly, Jutarnji reports.
